Namira v1@3x.png
Ms. Namira Mohamad

Ms. Namira is the trailblazer for Singapore’s Endometriosis awareness movement. Like many others, she too holds a full-time job, juggling wife duties and caring for her elderly parents. All these plus battling multiple chronic conditions with stage four Endometriosis being one of the many. Her cheerful disposition and contagious laughter are a stark contrast to her stories of grit and perseverance.

With the mentality of “How pain changes you are all up to you”, Ms. Namira chooses to pave the way towards a future that embraces Endometriosis with the attention and care it direly needs.

THE FOUNDER

Since 2012, Ms. Namira has been working tirelessly in starting conversations relating to Endometriosis. Deemed as taboo topics, she continues to question the social prejudices on infertility and menstruation; issues closely related to Endometriosis. She believes strongly that having fertility problems does not make a woman any less of a woman and that society should stop grading someone’s worth from how well their reproductive system functions.

Ms. Namira has since collaborated with several healthcare professionals, media platforms, and organizations in paving the way for the betterment of women’s wellness, particularly concerning Endometriosis.
