These are the ten patient partners featured in the OPEN Voices Gallery Walk, part of the upcoming Patient Voices Symposium 2025, happening on 19 November at NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.

I feel deeply humbled to be representing Endometriosis, and to be the only Malay patient partner featured this year. To see my journey among voices shaping how medicine listens and learns is something I never imagined when I was simply trying to make sense of my own pain.

The Office of Patient Engagement (OPEN) has created a space where stories like ours are heard and valued, where healing begins with understanding.

The symposium is open to the public and free to attend. Join us and be part of these meaningful conversations as we continue to grow and learn together 🤍

You can register by 17 November through the link below or by scanning the QR code in the image:

The Patient Voices Symposium 2025 will run from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) Novena, Clinical Sciences Building, Ong Tiong Tat & Irene Tan Liang Kheng Auditorium, Level 4.

📍 Address: 11 Mandalay Road, Singapore 308232

🚆 By Public Transport: Nearest MRT — Novena Station

🚗 By Car: Limited parking lots are available at the LKCMedicine Clinical Sciences Building.

The programme features a full day of engaging talks and discussions by both local and international speakers, exploring best practices in Patient and Public Involvement (PPI), building authentic partnerships between patients and researchers, and how storytelling, the arts, and co-design can elevate patient voices.

As part of the event, the OPEN Voices Gallery Walk will be held in two sessions:

 • 11:00 AM – 11:40 AM (morning tea break)

 • 12:50 PM – 2:00 PM (lunch break)

These gallery walks offer an intimate and interactive space for attendees to meet and converse directly with patient partners. Through personal stories, creative displays, and shared reflections, visitors can better understand the lived experiences of patients and how these experiences continue to shape healthcare, research, and education.

I’ll be standing next to my display during both sessions to share and engage in meaningful conversations about Endometriosis and my journey as a founder and leading advocate in this space.

Please keep me in your prayers as I continue this journey 🤍 I’ll see you then.
