In light of the fasting month which is approaching, I would like to cordially share with you an event that I am organizing.
I am suffering from multiple chronic conditions with Stage 4 Endometriosis being one of them. It is a disease that has no cure and one of the primary symptoms is painful menstruation (Dysmenorrhea) or ‘Senggugut’. For as long as we are normalizing this symptom, the delay in diagnosis and timely management of Endometriosis would continue. Feeling morally obligated to create awareness, I, therefore, established a non-profit organization, E for Endometriosis in 2012.
This Ramadhan, I am conducting Singapore's first Islamically inclined sharing session on matters relating to Endometriosis. All proceeds from the registration sale go to Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah, one of the oldest surviving madrasahs in Singapore that boasts an illustrious line of alumni of prominent Islamic religious leaders in Singapore and Southeast Asia. The event is open to the masses, both men & women, especially teens, young adults, and parents.
More details on the event & registration here:
So, help us sell out the tickets, raise a good amount for Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah, and create Endometriosis awareness. Join us & share the event with as many people as you can. 🙌🏼 🤝
May your Ramadhan be blessed and may Allah accept our good deeds as sincerely done for Him. Ahlan Wa Sahlan Ya Ramadhan!
