A Recap On The 1st In-Person Event Post Pandemic & KKH Public Forum

What a week! Phew!

Grateful to Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah & KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH) for the invitation to address the issues of Endometriosis through my encounters. Both events achieved full-house attendance! This is a progression considering more people are choosing awareness and owning their narrative rather than blindly following the flow because that could potentially lead to other health scares and complications.

It feels great to be back at my alma mater and share my stories. What I did not expect was an auditorium brim with students. Some of them even had to sit on the stairs. Great energy. Such a fantastic crowd! I am always delighted for such events because engaging young minds to me is an opportunity to break the vicious cycle of ignorance and prejudices toward women's wellness. Atop, it was my very first in-person event post-pandemic. So yes, the excitement was hard to contain!

KKH Public Forum received a great turn out too. Two hundred forty-four attendees with burning questions that kept going. Focus-driven and eager to learn. Amazing!

However, I had to cut short my sharing session on both events because of the time constraint. Thankfully for the upcoming August talk, I intend to come out in the open with as much detail as possible on the encounters I briefly shared in these two talks. I feel that it is about time for me to address the privy subjects with the hope that it could motivate others to support change, end the silence, create awareness & share the cause. This is also in celebration of the Islamic New Year Muharram. Registration is now open. To register, click on the link below:

Registration is FREE! So, please help us reach a full house and raise Endometriosis awareness. Share the event with as many people as you can. 🙌🏼🤝

A casual approach is implemented to ensure fluidity in relaying essential points and making dry topics engaging. This includes conversing in a mixture of English & Malay, the Singaporean way!

Before registering, kindly read through the terms and conditions stated in the registration portal and adhere to them.
